Life has seasons. Leave It on the Field identifies them as the four quarters of a man’s life. The first quarter entails self-discovery as men make the transition from adolescence to adulthood. The second quarter is a season of productivity. In the third quarter of a man’s life, he is more deliberate. The fourth quarter of a man’s life is typically characterized by wisdom and significance. His character is his voice.

The successes and failures of the previous quarters have made him stronger, wiser, and better. The fourth quarter man only fights the good fight because he knows which fights are worth fighting. He continues to keep the faith as he completes his course. He is destined to finish strong and leave it all on the field.
