Hands of Hope

The Purpose of the Hands of Hope Ministry

  • To enrich the lives of children in our community who are in Foster Care* or living in economically disadvantaged households.
  • To demonstrate the love of Christ by providing hope, encouragement, and spiritual support through uplifting programs such as
    • Christmas Gifts for Children
    • Supporting Bingle Campus Storehouse Ministry Food Distribution
    • Gift Distribution at Ronald McDonald House
    • Hands of Hope 360 Community Service Projects with Target Hunger, Title 1 schools near each TCWW campus and others.
  • *Foster Care is a system in which a minor has been placed into a ward, group home, residential childcare community, treatment center, or in the private home of a state-certified caregiver.

Who We Are

The TCWW Hands of Hope Ministry is dedicated to showing children in foster care or economically disadvantaged communities in Houston that they are not forgotten—especially at Christmas. But our mission doesn’t stop there. We are a year-round ministry, reaching beyond our walls to bless children and families through our Hands of Hope 360 community projects. Wherever children and the community are involved, we strive to be difference-makers, sharing hope, love, and encouragement in the name of Christ.

bless whoever welcomes a little child like this in My name welcomes me. Matthew 18:5

Spiritual Formation:

  • Discipleship - A commitment to this ministry, to others within the church family and those beyond our walls to serve God through fellowship, teaching, prayer, and the breaking of bread.
  • Evangelism – To share the love of Christ and bring others to a closer relationship with Him by helping those who, for whatever reason, may struggle emotionally and spiritually
  • Stewardship – To share the gifts God has bestowed upon us through our time, talent and treasure with our church and community.
