Protection & Deliverance
Heavenly Father,
You said, “When a man’s ways please you that you will make even their enemies to be at peace with them” (Prov. 16:7). I ask you to forgive me of the things that I have done that have not pleased you. Help me turn from my will to yours, as I commit afresh today to obey your voice. For then you will be an enemy unto my enemies (Ex. 23:22). For your glory Lord and not mine, deliver me (2 Sam. 22:18).
Please keep me as the apple of your eye (Ps. 17:8) by granting me the grace to love my enemies. I confess my need for your Holy Spirit to help me to do good to those who hate me and to pray for them (Matt. 5:43-45). Father, please grant me the courage to fight against the one true source of all evil. For I wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Help me to be strong in you and in the power of your might as I take up the whole armor of God, and stand against the wiles of the devil. (Eph. 6:10-16).
I unite my faith with your word and proclaim that no weapon that is formed against me shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against me in judgment, I do condemn. This is my heritage as your servant, and my righteousness is of you (Isaiah 54:17).
You have given me the power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means shall hurt me (Luke 10:19).
In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen
But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you. -Psalm 5:11
Mighty God,
You are my Lord and my God. Thank you for going with me and before me to fight the enemy on my behalf. How I bless your name for the protection and peace you provide. Thank you that your hand is ready and able to deliver me from the threat and the snares of the enemy. I thank you today for victory in Jesus Christ!
In the Name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.
