A Career Change

He fell to the ground and heard a voice say to him, “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” “Who are you, Lord?” Saul asked. “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” he replied. “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.” (Acts 9:4-6)
Devotional: Sports have a way of telling wonderful comeback stories by athletes who suffered major injuries. Normally, in most case, after tearing ligaments in their knees, or achilles, shoulders, to name a few, it takes them almost a full year to recover from the surgery, plus the rigorous rehabilitation daily to get their body strengthen to play again. In many instances, the player is not the same but there are times where some are even better in ability after the injury than they were before the injury. Our Christian Walk with God is like that in that we felt we were very healthy and strong before Christ but now that we know that we are stronger, wiser, and spiritually mature in Christ.
Prayer: Most Gracious and Loving father, we thank you for entering into our lives to bring healing and wholeness to our very being; You are awesome, and we recognize that sometimes we have to be broken in order to see your goodness, to see your grace. Lord, we thank you for your guide and showing us what it means to be heal, in the name of Jesus, Amen and Amen
