Allowing Him To Fight My Battle

Allowing Him To Fight My Battle
May 25-31
"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong." 1 Corinthians 16:13
Devotional: As we remember this Memorial Day Weekend the lives of those courageous men and women who sacrifice their lives for this country, we cannot help but think and reflect on what the Lord has done for us in sacrificing His life that we might have life. Hopefully, this weekend, as we gather together with family and friends while grilling ribs, burgers, hot dogs, etc., let’s not forget the freedom afforded to us by those who lost their lives on battlefields as we press forward in knowing that we safe and secure because the victory was won on a hill call Calvary!
Prayer: Father, thank you for yet another chance to testify to your goodness and your graciousness! As we think you for those who suffered in our armed forces over the course of years, remain us this week to pray for those who lost loved ones and ask your presence and peace to be with them. We thank you for Jesus Christ, who paid it all for my sins and because of Him, I can stand firm and be strong, in His name, I pray, Amen and Amen!!!
Reflection Question: What issues are you needing to be on guard against?
