In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1

Devotional: Consistency is one of the greatest qualities a person can display, especially if it benefits those around them. We like people who are “who they are” but when things change, we begin to wonder, “What’s going on” since they have been reliable. Inconsistency creates doubt in people, but thanks be to God who has given us His Son, Jesus Christ because He is Alpha and Omega; everything begins and ends in Him alone!

Prayer: Father, we thank you for the Living Word that we have in Jesus Christ! We love you and thank you for loving us! Thank you for Your consistent plan from the start in reconciling us back to you and now, because of your Son, we have fellowship with you. Now Lord, remind us daily of the truths you have provided for us in the Bible and give us passion to not just hear but live what you have given us; we are thankful for your abiding presence, in Jesus I pray, Amen, and Amen! 

Reflection Question: While reading your bible, do you see the abiding presence of Jesus in all of scripture?
