Can You Be Trusted?

‘Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these because I am going to the Father.’ John 14:12
Devotional: It is said that impersonation is the highest form of flattery. In all professions, regardless of what walk of life it is, we aspire to reach heights like someone who was known to be the greatest to do it in that vocation, whose name is synonymous with that job or that activity. We can call certain professions, and immediately, a name will pop into our minds, such as the person who was considered the greatest ever to do it. Wow, do you know God has called you to do great things for Him, and do you know that He has given you the power of the Holy Spirit to carry it through? All you and I have to do is believe in Him and love Him as you love one another and yourself!
Prayer: Father, from the beginning, You have given us a gift to be a blessing to our church and community. Thank you for continuing to bless us even when we have not always followed your will and your way. Renew in us a steadfast spirit to remind us that we have been charged to give total allegiance and attention to your sovereign call in our lives and likewise, enable us to know, with full confidence, that we can accomplish great things for your kingdom here on planet earth, in the name of Jesus we pray, Amen and Amen!
