Faithfulness Regardless of the Season
November 9 - 16
“Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion” (Isaiah 38:3)
Devotional: As the calendar turns to the month of November, autumn finally begins to take shape; the leaves fall from the trees with colors of brown and orange. There is feel the chill in the air that brings a level of excitement because the holidays are approaching! Though we look forward, with anticipation, to this time of year where family are friends will gather together in a few weeks for Thanksgiving, let’s not forget to carve out some time for our Lord! Beloved, God is faithful regardless of the season and that should be our goal to be faithful with our love and devotion with Him each and every day!
Prayer: Father, thank you for your grace and mercy, even during those moments when I fall short of my devotion and love toward you. I ask for your forgiveness, and I pray that you will enable me to maintain my attention and allegiance to you, even in the midst of fellowship, family, and friends; remind me to always be thankful and grateful to you regardless of the season, in Jesus’ precious and powerful name I pray, Amen and Amen!
