God Hear Us
February 22 - 28
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us–whatever we ask–we know that we have what we asked of him." (1 John 5:14-15)
Devotional: Have you ever felt like God was too far away to be concerned about the things that matter to you? Do you feel that your desires and requests are small when compared to the affairs of the world? Well, my friends, this is far from the truth because our God cares for us! (1Pet. 5:7) As you put their trust in the Lord, one can be confident in knowing that He hears you; He never slumbers nor sleep, and His ears are always attentive to your needs, always listening! As believers, we can be assured that whatever we ask, in faith and according to his will, He will answer! In our relationship with the Father, there are no requests that are too small for Him. Thus, we keep on asking because He may not answer when you want him to answer, but His answer will come right on time!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for confidence in knowing that you hear our requests. There is nothing too small concerning me that you are not concerned about. Help me to approach your throne boldly with assurance that whatever I ask according to your will, you will answer. In the precious name of Jesus… Amen!
