God’s Protection Plan For You
February 11-17
Scripture: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. Isaiah 43:2
Devotional: I know I am dating myself but as a child, I recall us having to go to the TV and turn it on by the dials on the console. In today’s world, we cannot function without the TV remote and other remotes such as one for our security at our homes. We can protect our homes remotely on our cell phones to ensure safety and care, even when we are not there. As children of God, you and I have access to the Father, even when the storms of life come our way, we will not be swept away because God’s protection plan has secured us with His presence and His provision!
Prayer: Father, I marvel at your love for me; I can never flee from your presence; thank you so much for caring for me in such a special way! Now Lord, when the flames of trouble, heartache, and discouragement seek to steal my joy, remind me of your abiding grace to be with me always, even to the end of this age. I give you praise, and I give you glory for being my rock in a weary land, in the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen and Amen!!!
