His Beauty is Ever Before Us

His Beauty Is Ever Before Us
June 1-7
"Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it. Let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy." Psalm 96:11-12
Devotional: As we get older and less active, it’s essential for us to get out early in the morning and engage in some exercise, whether at the gym or walking in a park. Personally, I enjoy long walks in the park, especially during sunrise, as I walk up and down the hills on the walking trail by the lake. The sounds of the birds singing and the ducks swimming in the lake are a reminder of God's magnificent creations. Beloved, God can teach us, speak to us, and provide for us the great God that He is through the lenses of what we see every day, and we should never take that for granted!
Prayer: Truly God, you are awesome, and nothing can rival you as the Creator of Heaven and Earth! We worship you and give thanks for demonstrating how marvelous and majestic you are in what we see and how we live through your nature. Now Lord, remind us to look to the hills of your glory which cometh our help; for you are great and worthy to be praised, in the name that is above all name, Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen, and Amen!
Reflection Question: What do you feel when you physically turn your gaze upward toward Heaven?
