Scripture: “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” –Romans 12:12

Devotional: Life has a way of reminding us that it’s not always the big things that bring contentment but oftentimes, it is the little nuggets of an encouraging word or song that resonates in our hearts and minds to help us continue on the journey. This holiday season, as we think of presents to give to family and friends, think about someone who’s desperately in need of a special gift of love and encouragement that only comes from God, the gift of Hope! 

Prayer: Lord, enable us to encourage someone and allow us to maintain our hope in You. Let us hold onto the assurance that our prayers are constant and consistent, in the name of Jesus, who is our fortress and our deliverer Amen and Amen!
