In GOD We Trust
March 1 - 7
"It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to trust in humans." (Psalm 118:8)
Devotional: On the back of each dollar bill are the words “In God We Trust.” We have confidence in many things in our lives such as relationships and people. Though we may experience disappointments or mistrust, we seem to remain comforted by our connections. My friends, if we are willing to put trust and confidence in people, believing the chair that we are sitting will hold us, or that our car will get us safely to our destinations, how much more shouldn’t we put our trust and confidence in GOD? He has a plan that Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that is “good and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope.” It is up to you and I to take refuge in God and He will guide us to our eternal destination!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, You are our refuge! Now Give us confidence to know that Your plans for us are far greater than our own. May we trust You with everything that concerns us and may your grace be sufficient for us, in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
