Look Who's Got Your Back

June 2 - 8

“The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are His everlasting arms.” Deuteronomy 33:27a

Devotional: As summer approaches and living near the Gulf Coast, we know hurricane season is approaching. We prepare in case of storms come our way and locate safe places in our homes to protect ourselves. As children of the Most High God, we look no further than to know that He is our shelter in times of storms that seek to destroy our joy and peace!

Prayer: Eternal Father, we are in awe of you; we bow down to you as superior and supreme to all!  We thank you for providing us safety and security through your Son and our Savior Jesus Christ!  Now Lord, enable us to trust you at all times and recognize that no storm literally or figuratively can compare to your power and strength; thank you for being the rock of our lives, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!

Reflection Question:  When there are no storms in your life, is it because of your goodness?

Thank you for sharing the work of God and prayer. I will continue to pray that God leave me to a church where I feel welcome.
