Making Good Grades For Your Father

Making Good Grades For Your Father
February 23 - March 1
“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul” Deuteronomy 10:12
Devotional: I recall quite vividly a few days ago how my parents put emphasis on us as children to make excellent grades. As the six-week period would conclude, I would feel a sense of panic because of the expectations they set before me. Friends, God has expectations for you and me, and it doesn’t include us being perfect in what we do or accomplish, but by simply spending time with Him and loving Him. By His grace, you have made an “A”!
Prayer: Father, I love you and thank you for your marvelous grace and precious peace! Now Lord, instill in me a willingness to love you with my heart, mind, and strength, and enable me to love myself as I love others, in the name of Jesus I pray, Amen and Amen!
Reflection Question: What type of work is required by you to maintain good status with the Father?
