My Benefit Package in The Lord

My Benefit Package in The Lord

November 17-23

“Those who are kind benefit themselves, but the cruel bring ruin on themselves.” Proverbs 11:17

Devotional: Sometimes, what looks good and feels good isn’t always good, especially when the outcome leads to disappointment in one’s life. Today, we live in a time where more and more of us are being scammed every day and have suffered tremendous losses. As a result of trusting the wrong person, we then turn our attention to seeking God as we ponder, “Why did this happen to me?” For us as believers in Jesus Christ, let’s not forget that our God is full of grace and mercy, and His kindness extends to each and every one of us. Thus, it is paramount that we exercise wisdom with prayer, as we display the love of Christ and allow Him to fight our battle against those who seek to harm us!

Prayer: My Lord and My God, You are full of grace and goodness as we give all the glory on this day!  We love you though we admit our failures, our missteps before you; thank you for your forgiveness and repentance. Now, Father, remind us of what we have in your Son and our Savior Jesus Christ; we praise your Holy Name, Amen and Amen!

Reflection Question: What benefits are available for you in the midst of your troubles?
