My Guiding Light

June 16-22

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” Psalm 119:105

Devotional: I am one who always has a problem when it comes to making choices, especially when dining out at a restaurant. It usually comes down to which entrée I am craving or desiring, and which one is best or healthier for me at this stage of my life. For us, the word of God is a guide for us to ensure that we are making the right decisions, far more serious than choosing a meal. It is God’s love letter to us that can shed light to show you which way we should go IF we spend time reading and knowing the one who is the Living Word!

Prayer: Lord, we love you and we praise your Holy name; we give you glory; we give you honor for your Word which is our lamp, our guidance, and our direction.  Now Father, enable us to stay focused on the light which is Jesus Christ, as we go about our daily activities and we will be so grateful to give you all of our worship, in His name, we pray, Amen!
