On The Wings Of His Love

“I said, "Oh, that I had the wings of a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.” Psalm 55:6
Devotional: As we make vacation travel plans this time of year, we often find ourselves weary and tired in the process of planning for our time of relaxation, fun, and refreshment. In other words, we are so exhausted from preparing for our trip that we cannot fully enjoy our time away. On a more serious note, there are times when we are so fatigue with life that we just want to escape from the pain and find peace and rest. Thank goodness for you and I, Jesus reminds us to come to Him because He provides love and comfort for us who are drained and running on empty!
Prayer: Father God, we worship you for being our Comforter and our Keeper in the midst of life’s most challenging times! We know that we have tried to live life on our own terms, and we have failed. Now Lord, allow us to know that we can never ever escape from your presence; for truly You are the wings that lifts us above the clouds of hurt, harm, and danger. We glorify you and give you praise, in Jesus we pray, Amen and Amen!
