Shouts of Joy

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” Phillippians 4:4
Devotional: "Want a tough stain out? Shout it out!” This line is the theme of a very familiar commercial promoting a heavy-duty stain remover spray that we know as Shout. When I think about those words, immediately I think of what the Lord has done for me in removing the stain of my sin and cleansing me through His precious blood! Friends, for you and I, it’s enough to make us want to shout in full rejoicing and praising to our God!
Prayer: My Father and My God, we lift your name on high with joy and goodness toward you! You are so gracious, so compassionate, so full of mercy toward each and every one of us! We rejoice in knowing that You are able to fill our hearts and minds with Your abiding presence and give us peace in the midst of our storms and circumstances. Now Lord, remind us to know that because You live and You reign, I can rejoice and face my tomorrow, knowing that I am not alone; for thou art with me, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord we pray, Amen and Amen!
