The Eternal Answering Machine

Scripture: “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.” –Isaiah 65:24
Devotional: Many couples who have been married for many years, in some instances, begin to favor one another in appearance and personality. Many times one will finish a statement that the other one has started because they know each other that well. For you and I, as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, isn’t it good to know that God knows what we need long before we even encounter that need? Oftentimes, we might not agree with His answer at that particular time but as we grow in grace and knowledge of Him, we soon discover that His answer is not merely based on temporary fulfillment but eternal joy!
Prayer: Lord, we thank you for hearing and answering our prayers, our concerns, and our needs because of your infinite resources. We give you glory for interceding in our lives and providing for us what we stand in need of; thank you for your presence and enabling us to trust in every situation that we face, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!
