The Power Of My Praise

August 17-23

“But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.” Psalm 59:16

Devotional: Unfortunately, many of us, like myself, do not have the gift of singing, but that’s alright. When we open our mouths and our hearts to worship God, something happens on the inside that expresses our love and adoration for Him! When we think of God’s goodness to us and truly give Him praise, it releases His strength in us to provide us with peace and assurance of His abiding patience with us; beloved, what a blessing it is when we sing praises to our God!

Prayer: God of Hope, God of Grace, we thank you for this day and we thank you that You are our refuge and You are our strength and we give You glory, honor, and praise for your great love toward us, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
