To Serve This Present Age

"He said to them, 'Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." Mark 16:15
Devotional: As a child, it was impressed upon me and my siblings the importance of not speaking to strangers. The premise of this was to be careful because we don't know their intentions. As a result, many of us carry this into adulthood to be aware of those that we don't know. Thus, we fail to open our mouths when the opportunity comes for us to share Jesus, but know that you are not alone; remember, God is with us today, tomorrow, and always!
Prayer: Father, we stretch our hands to thee, for we know that you are able to lead us, keep us, and guide us! We love you, and we thank you for loving us. Now, Lord, fill us with our presence and peace as we seek to fulfill your mandate to share the love of Christ wherever we go and to whoever is in need of it; in His name, I pray, Amen and Amen!
