DISCOVER HOW GOD USES ANIMALS TO SHOW HIS LOVE

Plan a Visit

A Visit to the Biblical Zoo

Step into a six-week exploration, beginning Sunday, September 7, of the surprising ways God reveals His love and guides His people. Each Sunday, we’ll “visit” a different exhibit—donkey, raven, fox, whale, spider, and worm—straight from Scripture. Together, we’ll learn how God can:

  • speak through astonishing means,
  • provide from unlikely sources,
  • help us catch the “little foxes” that spoil what’s growing,
  • redirect our lives with mercy,
  • protect us in hidden ways, and
  • stretch our compassion for others.

Whether you’re new to faith or a longtime believer, you’ll leave each week with one clear next step and a fresh sense of God’s presence at work in everyday life.

Bring a friend and journey with us on A Visit to the Biblical Zoo—discovering wisdom, hope, and practical applications for real life.

If this is your first time visiting with us, please let us know you are coming so we can prepare for you. Click the button below.

Sermon Exhibits

The Divine Donkey

Numbers 22:1-39

God can use astonishing means to speak His word

When Balaam’s donkey speaks, the story reminds us that God will use whatever means are necessary to get our attention. This message will explore how God breaks through our assumptions and interruptions to call us back to obedience and clarity.

The Catering Raven

1 Kings 17: 2-16

God can use unlikely sources to provide for your needs

In a time of drought, God provides through ravens and a widow—teaching us that provision often comes from unlikely places. This sermon will encourage trust and generosity, even when resources look scarce.

The Opportunistic Fox

Song of Solomon 2:15

Watch the small things that lead to big consequences.

Small, unchecked things—“little foxes”—can quietly ruin what’s growing in our lives. This message will help us identify everyday compromises and give practical steps to guard our hearts and relationships.

The Designated Whale

Jonah 1-2

All creation is at God’s disposal to do His will

Jonah’s detour into the deep shows that God can use even the most dramatic interruptions to redirect us toward mercy and mission. This sermon will focus on confession, renewal, and answering God’s call after a false start.

The Spying Spider

Proverbs. 30:28

God can protect you from the unlikely against unexpected attacks.

The small spider models quiet strength and surprising protection—reminding us that God’s wisdom often works through hidden, gentle means. This message will invite trust in God’s unseen safeguards and the community that weaves us together.

The Designated Worm

Jonah 4

Beware of belittling God’s great Mercy.

The tiny worm that withers Jonah’s plant exposes a larger heart issue: reluctance to receive and extend mercy. This final sermon will call us to broaden our compassion and celebrate God’s mercy for all.
