Project C.U.R.E. is the largest provider of donated medical supplies and equipment to developing countries around the world. We were founded in Colorado in 1987 by Dr. James Jackson and have since expanded across the US. With 6 distribution centers located in Houston, Phoenix, Chicago, Nashville, Denver, Philadelphia and a dozen more collection centers around the US. Project C.U.R.E ships millions of dollars worth of donated medical supplies abroad each month.
Please help us spread health and hope around the world by volunteering with Project C.U.R.E Houston. Please see our needs and events page for more information or contact us at houstonvolunteers@projectcure.org. We welcome volunteers ages 14 and up and love working with individuals and groups.
Each week, PROJECT C.U.R.E. receives hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of donated medical supplies and equipment through its PROCURE program. These life saving supplies are then organized and shipped to hospitals and clinics in the developing world.
Volunteers are needed for all aspects of our organization:

Orientations are available at the start of each shift.
About Us
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with us at Project C.U.R.E. Houston. Project C.U.R.E. is the largest provider of donated medical supplies and equipment to developing countries around the world. We would be delighted to have you join us and share in our mission.
WHAT do volunteers do?
Our volunteers help with all aspects of our life-saving operation. Volunteers sort donated medical supplies, prepare shipments, help manage our warehouse, and even work with our hospital partners to procure supplies. We also have volunteers who drive out to make scheduled donation pick-ups, test and repair medical equipment at all levels of expertise, help with fundraising and outreach, plan events, and assist with administrative needs.
We do not require any experience or medical background and will teach you everything you need to know. With that said, we do love nurses and medical professionals! Engineers are also extremely valuable to us.
HOW should I dress?
Please dress comfortably (jeans, sweats, shorts) with comfortable closed toes shoes. Please note the exterior warehouse space can be a bit cool in the winter and warm in the summer.
KIDS: We welcome volunteers ages 14 and up, but if you are under 18, your parent/guardian must sign our liability release form and you must bring this form with you.
