What We Do

At Good Shepherd Hospice, our mission is serving people with compassion and dignity. Our vision is to provide the exceptional hospice experience and we serve a diverse population of seniors deemed appropriate for hospice care surrounding the Houston, Tx area. We offer a wide variety of services that include Nursing and Nursing Aid care, bereavement support, chaplain support, and we have social workers and hospice consultants who work closely with the patient and family. We also have volunteer services to provide companionship and a loving presence to our patients and their families.

Available Serving Opportunities

Office Volunteers

There are many things you can do to help:

• Prepare admission packets
• Assist the Volunteer Coordinator
• Assist the Bereavement Coordinator
• Help with meeting preparations
• Assist with the volunteer reports
• Help in Medical Records
• Assist the Office Manager

Plus many other things. Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, but we can often work with your schedule. We can always use the help.
