Who We Are

Founded in 1982, the Houston Food Bank’s mission is to provide food for better lives. Houston Food Bank is a certified member of Feeding America, the nation’s food bank network, with a four-star rating from Charity Navigator. Houston Food Bank is America’s largest food bank in distribution, and leads hunger relief in 18 southeast Texas counties. We distribute fresh produce, meat and nonperishables and prepare nutritious hot meals for kids in our state-of-the-art Keegan Kitchen.

Northwest Volunteers

Help out while sharing the value of volunteering with those you learn with, worship with, play with or work with – and have a blast doing it!

Take part in serving our larger community by volunteering at our HFB-North Branch location to build Disaster Boxes and Home Delivery Kits, easy warehouse box building projects for individuals, partners and others in need in our community.
