Who We Are

To enhance and improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by sickle cell disease and sickle cell trait through case management, programming and supportive services.

What We Do

Serves hundreds of families affected by sickle cell disease, sickle cell trait and other chronic conditions and has outreached to more than 750,000. We believe through support, education and effective programming we can improve the quality of life for families affected, while raising awareness to find a universal cure.

Available Serving Opportunities

Care Call Volunteers

Providing care calls to families/clients within the organization, documenting a record of phone calls, and communicating needs for callbacks to staff members.

Care calls consist of:

• Checking in on clients( asking how they are doing and if they need any support
• Listening to clients/conversing
• Communicating needs and support to staff members
• Logging documentation and recording notes for each care call conducted

Background check required.

Shifts: Daily 10am - 4pm
