Our mission is to connect people in need with health, social and educational resources that can improve their lives.

What We Do

During COVID-19:

• Food pantry every week on Tuesdays
• State benefit/Gold card applications assistance over the phone
• Harris Health, CHIP, SNAP benefits application assistance
• Homelessness prevention/financial assistance (rent and utilities)
• On-site healthcare with Texas Children’s Hospital, UT Dental and The Rose

After COVID-19 these services will resume:

• Health screenings
• Client choice food pantry daily

Available Serving Opportunities

Weekly Food Distributions

Our weekly drive-through food distributions are open to anyone in the Houston area. 1-2 times each month we offer fresh meat, dairy and produce. For the rest of the weeks, we have non-perishable foods and diapers.

Volunteers should arrive at 7 a.m. Masks and gloves are currently required, and we will provide them.

Volunteer Arrival Time: 7am

Shifts: 7am - 10am

Location: 9600 S. Gessner Rd. Bldg. E, Houston, TX 77071

Dates Available: Reoccurring - Every Tuesday

Required Qualifications: Photo ID

Additional Details:

• 15 and older
• Is Family Friendly
• Is Outdoors – Inclement Weather Plan: rain or shine
• Gloves and mask required
