Howdy, church family! We’re rounding up our volunteer team to help bring to life an unforgettable event for Pas' 66th birthday — a WESTern-style roundup filled with Blessings, Boots, and BBQ — and we want cowboys and cowgirls with a heart for service and a love for the Shepherd of the TCWW flock to help us make it all happen! Planning is underway and we want your creativity, leadership, and support to pull it all together. What’s the mission? Help us volunteer with one of our teams for this rootin’- tootin’ good time on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 6:30 PM on the Queenston Campus. Register below to volunteer! 

Décor – The Ranch Stylists: 

Create a space fit for a WESTern legend! You’ll help design, set up, and tear down themed decorations that bring a little of the Wild West to life. Think boots, hay bales, wagon wheels, and a whole lotta charm. If you’ve got an eye for detail and love making spaces shine, saddle up here!

Entertainment  – The Showstoppers:

Help wrangle the fun and bring the energy! You’ll assist with organizing the live music, coordinating line dancing, managing the mic for tributes, and making sure the celebration keeps rollin’ without a hitch. If you’ve got a flair for performance or love keepin’ folks engaged, this is your rodeo.

Food Service – The Chuckwagon Crew:

Confirm the menu and fixings. Work with selected vendors. Organize the BBQ Cookoff. Serve up great food, cowboy-style with a smile! This team will assist with setting up the meal area, coordinating food flow, keeping things tidy, and making sure everyone is well-fed.

Games & Activities – The Fun Rangers: 

Bring the hootin’ and hollerin’! This crew will run interactive games and activities for all ages, keepin’ the young bucks and seasoned cowhands entertained throughout the night. If you’ve got energy, creativity, and love to keep things movin’, we need you on this team.

Gifts & Tributes – The Honor Guard: 

Help show Pas just how loved he is! This team will coordinate special gifts, memorable moments, and tributes that reflect Pas’ journey and impact. You’ll help gather meaningful contributions, organize presentations, and ensure every heartfelt gesture is delivered with care. If you’re thoughtful and , this role is your golden saddle.

Hospitality Team – The Howdy Crew: 

Be the warm welcome at the gate! You’ll greet guests with big smiles, offer assistance as needed, and help create an inviting atmosphere that reflects the heart of TCWW. From the first howdy to the final farewell, you’ll make everyone feel like they belong on this range.

Logistics & Setup Team – The Trail Bosses:

Make sure the behind-the-scenes runs smoother than a prairie breeze. This team handles the setup and breakdown of tables, chairs, signage, staging, and equipment—making sure every detail is in place before the doors swing open. If you like to stay ahead of the herd and get things done, we need your grit here.

Registration & Check-In Team – The Gatekeepers: 

Welcome guests to the roundup and keep things organized! You’ll assist with guest check-in, RSVP tracking, and helping folks find their way. You’re the first stop on the trail, setting the tone with a friendly smile and smooth flow. If you’re detail-oriented and love administrative tasks, this team’s for you.
