This past Sunday, Pastor West launched our new sermon series, Gratitude for All Seasons, with a message titled “The Inclusiveness of Thanksgiving.”
Drawing from 1 Thessalonians 5:18, Pastor West reminded us that God’s Word calls us to “give thanks in all circumstances”—not for everything that happens, but in everything we face. He illustrated this truth through stories of faith, both biblical and historical, showing how gratitude is a spiritual choice rather than an emotional reaction.

We are challenged to look beyond our current trials and see the stars instead of the mud—to thank God not because of what happens, but because of who He is.
