Is Obedience Better Than Sacrifice?

"If you fully obey the Lord your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the Lord your God:" (Deuteronomy 28:1-2)
Devotional: Obedience, for me, can be difficult at times because there are times when I want to do it my way and I don’t want to answer to anyone. While most of us have a hard time admitting this, if we are truly honest, we find ourselves feeling this way. However, there are great benefits in your obedience to God such as the blessing of the city and the blessing of those things that you put your hands to do based on God’s promises here in Deuteronomy. If we trust and obey, we will experience great happiness in Jesus Christ!
Prayer: Lord, I submit myself to you right now because You are my God; You are my Strength and You are my Shield; I praise your Holy Name! Father, I pray that you will increase my faith. Let me be a willing vessel for You and know that You area rewarder if I diligently seek after You in all things. We love you Jesus and give your name praise, Amen!
