Wisdom of Work in the Word
May 17 - 23
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” (Colossians 3:23-24)
Devotional: As many of us know, one’s work environment can feel, at times, like navigating through a storm and trying to keep your head above water. Though the waves of stress and negativity can be overbearing, God has provided for us a handbook in Hiis Word. It’s in these moments, the timeless wisdom of the Bible, beloved, can serve as a beacon of hope in finding joy in the day-to-day activities of our lives!
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help us balance our lives with your Word as we use wisdom to guide our feet and directs us to clear vision in the Lord Jesus Christ. For we know that He is the Living Word and we thank you for Him living inside of us, as we prepare for Pentecost, the outpouring of your Spirit. We love you and we give You praise in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen!
